Alberta’s population growth is 0.5% higher than the national average

Statistics Canada released preliminary findings in December. Findings indicate that Alberta’s population growth was 0.5 percent higher than the national average for the third quarter. The national average was 0.4 percent. Stats also revealed that the population grew by 20,418, raising the population to 4,216,875. All of this despite the provinces struggling economy.
